A few years ago, I finally realised that my own way of learning and reading the cards wasn’t working for me. I wanted more of a connection. To not only find out what the cards said about the future, but also my past, my present, and who I am, who I want to be. So, I turned towards the intuitive approach. I stopped seeing the cards as something external and began seeing how they spoke to the internal. I was connecting my emotions to the cards and seeing where the cards had featured in my life. As I was doing this, I noticed I didn’t need the guidebooks as much because I was feeling the cards and not trying to memorise them. my love of tarot grew as I took on a new, more personal direction.
